This is a short but interesting story. I've heard from a reliable source that when Star Fox was originally in the works, there was a different Star Wolf team character instead of Pigma. His name was Beaker, he was a white bird, but later in development, it was decided that since there is already a bird in the game, a farmyard animal was needed, so Pigma was thought of.
